On Top of the World

Since I only had a couple of hours in the morning to see the Best City before my plane leaves for Houston, I signed up for a bus tour with a local company. Although my choices were rather limited, it was an interesting way to explore the place. Every five minutes or so, I was driven by an acute desire to jump out of the bus and take a few pictures of Haight-Ashbury or have a stroll through the Golden Gate Park. I could have spent my morning taking some tea in the Japanese Garden or mingling with locals on North Beach but it was discernibly clear that I won’t get to do any of that. In the end, I resorted to taking in the sights of San Francisco at a fast driving speed and watching the day progress from a foggy mist at the Golden Gate Bridge to bright sunshine on Twin Peaks. Care to join me for a quick drive-through?
